Walter was apparently born on May 19, 1871 in Boston,
Massachusetts. He was a scientist, artist, philosopher, builder, musician, author, and lecturer. In May of 1921 at the age of fifty he experienced a transformational, revelatory event which he referred to as "cosmic illumination". His style is bold and comprehensive.
